Gender Essence Support Services

has been appointed lead agency in Northern Ireland with the Gender Trust, Brighton. In April 2007, Gender Essence Counsellors completed intensive practical ‘awareness' training on identity and gender with Counsellor and Psychotherapist Michelle Bridgman MBACP.

This specialised training was designed to help us aid people, in a therapeutic environment, in easing mental stress and coping with their joys and sorrows as well as their anxieties and physical being around issues of sexual identity and gender.
